  • Kristy Salinas, LCSW

I’m a licensed clinical social worker who has been in the field since 2012, helping adults navigate depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and life transitions.  My style is warm, collaborative, and down to earth.  Therapy works best when you can show up as your full self: laughing, crying, swearing, or just trying to figure things out. Humor and curse words?  Totally welcome!

I use a strengths-based approach, drawing from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and Brainspotting–a powerful modality I’m newly trained in and excited to integrate more into my work.  I’m especially passionate about perinatal mental health–an area that became near and dear to me after having littles of my own.  While I’m still building clinical experience in this area, I’m committed to deepening my work through ongoing training.  The transition to parenthood is a vulnerable, identity-shifting season–and I feel that support during this journey is hugely lacking in our society.

If you’re looking for a therapist who’s real, down to earth, and ready to meet you exactly as you are–I’d be honored to walk with you.
